In the first game of what promises to be an exciting T20 series, India and South Africa go head to head with India on the cusp of creating a T20 world record of 13 consecutive T20 wins and with the confidence to register yet another series win at home.
The visitors on the other hand got a first hand account of the scorching Delhi heat as they prepare to challenge India on their home soil. Seasoned campaigners like Miller, De Kock and Rabada have the IPL advantage behind them and are keen to make the series anything but a one sided affair.
The game will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi and will begin at 7pm IST. This is the first game of a 5 match T20 series and Cuttack, Bengaluru, Rajkot and Vizag are slated to host the rest of the games.
